Without signing in, your work is kept for this browser only (it is stored on our server,
and this browser's cookie opens it). It is deleted after 30 days
without a visit (or after one day if you never got past the first step).
Sign in with Google to keep it in an account and open it from any device. What you did
before signing in moves into your account. We keep only Google's account id and the name and
email Google shares. No password is stored.
Sign out from the account menu. Your work stays in your account; the browser forgets it,
and forgets your OpenAI key.
Your resume, facts and drafts are sent to OpenAI only to do the work you ask for (reading,
scoring, writing). They are never shared with employers or anyone else. Hello Job Tracker never
applies for you and never sends email.
Take a copy, from Settings → Your data, any time: everything as a file (JSON:
profile, facts, criteria, jobs, scores, documents and chat), your jobs as a spreadsheet
(CSV), and closing dates and interviews as a calendar file. Your key is never in them.
Delete my data, at the bottom of Settings, deletes everything straight away: your
resume and files, jobs, documents, chat, facts, criteria, settings and your account, on every
device. It asks you to confirm first and cannot be undone. Copies in the nightly backups expire
within 30 days. Afterwards the app starts again at the welcome screen. If you signed in with
Google, signing in again with the same account does not give you a second free trial.
The Privacy page (linked on the welcome and sign-in screens, and beside Delete my data)
says exactly what is kept, who else sees it and for how long.
