Your profile
Open Profile from the account menu. It has three tabs.
Profile → Resume
This is your master resume: the single source every tailored resume and letter is built from. Nothing goes on a tailored document that is not here or in your facts.

- The file tile shows the file you uploaded, with its name. Click it to open the original.
- Beside it is a summary of what was read: name, location, summary, roles (with the span of years and the number of bullets), skills, education and projects.
- Edit structure opens the editor. Check every line: contact details and links, your summary, each role (title, company, location, dates and one bullet per line), education, skills (only ones you have actually used: the writer may not add to this list) and projects. Save resume keeps it as a new version.
- Replace resume reads a new file in its place.
- Look of tailored resumes shows the font, size, page size, margins and section order tailored resumes use. Hello Job Tracker copies them from your own file where it can. Use the default template switches to a clean standard layout; Re-read from file goes back to yours.
Profile → About you
What the AI knows about you beyond the resume: your notice period, the salary you want, why you are leaving, work you have done that is not on the resume. The fit assessor and the writer both use these facts. Employers never see them, and a fact only reaches a document when it is relevant and true.

- Start the interview opens a short conversation that asks the useful questions for you, one at a time. Each answer is saved as a fact. Say "stop" or choose Pause whenever you like; Continue the interview picks it up again.
- Add a fact lets you type a question and answer yourself.
- Still worth answering lists the seven key questions not yet answered (salary, where you will work from, work rights, notice period, what you want more of and less of, and anything the resume does not show), each with Answer.
- Any fact can be edited or deleted.
Profile → Criteria and weights
What you are looking for. This is what the fit score is measured against, and how the writer pitches your documents.

- Instructions to the agents: free text, in your own words, that both the assessor and the writer read. For example: "Hands-on analyst roles where I own the reporting end to end."
- Role categories: the kinds of role you are after, each with the job titles that belong to it. New jobs are sorted into these, and your lists can be grouped and filtered by them.
- Locations: pick a country, then narrow it to a state or a city if you like. Add as many as you want.
- Industries, more of: industries you would like to work in.
- Work mode: remote or hybrid, remote only, hybrid only, in the office full-time, or any.
- Work rights: citizen, permanent resident, a visa with full work rights, or a visa that needs sponsorship.
- Salary currency: the currency you think about pay in (AUD, USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, NZD, SGD or INR). It starts as your country's when you give your location on the first screen.
- Salary floor and Salary target, in that currency: excluding super for Australian dollars, before tax for the others. Jobs paying in another currency show their pay in it ("£45k–£55k"), and the fit score does not compare it with yours: the pay part says which currency it is in and stays neutral, rather than guessing an exchange rate.
- Employment type: full-time, contract, part-time and so on.
- Deal-breakers: things that rule a job out, such as "Five days in the office". A job that hits one is capped at 30 and says so.
- How the fit score is weighed: by default Let the AI weigh it is on, and all six dimensions count equally. Turn it off to set your own weight for each (they must add up to 100): for example, more weight on pay and location, less on industry.
- Documents: the job market your documents are written for (Australian by default), resume length in pages, the longest the summary may be, the longest a cover letter may be (words and paragraphs), and whether every recent role keeps at least one bullet.
Choose Save criteria when done. If the change affects scores, Hello Job Tracker offers to re-assess.
